Bowling is something that we don't always think about doing. It's crowded, smokey and can be expensive. However, I urge you to give it another try. It can be a fun way to interact with friends, and if you do some research, you can find great deals around town. On Mondays at the local bowling alley in Austin, it is $10 for unlimited games (including shoe rental). On Sundays they have 99 cent games. Many bowling alleys offer night games where they play music, dim the lights and have drink specials.
If after one game your friends can't seem to get enough, check to see if your city's Sports and Social Club offers bowling. You can join a league to compete with other local teams.
This Saturday is National Bowling Day! So grab your friends, head to the local bowling alley and spare yourself from another boring night.
