Fresh Fun at the Farmer's Market

The Farmer's Market isn't just for farmers. Research where and when your city has their farmer's market. Depending on your city, some are open daily, while others are just open Saturday or Sunday mornings. They typically have booths where you can walk around to merchants and buy fresh produce, good grub (even ice cream...mmmm) and shop for local products. Some even have live music.

This is a nice solo outing or something you can do with friends, family or even as a date. Imagine this: Your date picks you up. Go to the bookstore and pick out a cookbook. Decide on a yummy recipe. Head to the farmer's market to buy all the ingredients. Go home, cook it and enjoy a relaxing evening. Now doesn't that sound romantic?

Not only are Farmer's Markets a lot of fun, but you are also helping local businesses and farmers, while going green by eating organic foods.

Whether you are heading out to grab some groceries or just going to enjoy a delicious meal, the farmer's market is definitely something you should check out.
